The days here have been so unbelievably beautiful...we have made many trips to the various parks this place has to offer...Here are a few pics...

An Adventure....

This morning as we were eating breakfast, we decided to hit the road and have an adventure!!! So we got ready and headed NE, to Mt. Spokane. We drove for a while...and suddenly we found ourselves in the clouds! It was really beautiful...and O kept saying, "Going on adventure!"...(Yes, he is still alive...)

Pumkin Patch...

Today we went to a Pumpkin Farm with the pre-school...Not a lot to report...you know, just lots of smiles and orange things...

Conversation with O....

This took place after O had finished eating two bowls of yogurt...He was still sitting at the table, when I sit next to him with a handful of almonds.

O: "Have some?"

Me: "Sweetie, you know I'd share my almonds, but you don't like them...you spit them out..."

O: "Have some amonds?" as he holds out his little hand...

Me: "This is mama's snack"...

O: "PLEASE have some?"

Me, (who can't resist the "PLEASE")...bite a small chunk of almond and give it to him.

O: "Thank you sweetheart".

Ha ha...too cute!!! (By the way, he did shortly thereafter spit out the almond!)...

Angelique and Simone's Visit!

Angelique and Simone drove out to visit us for the day...O was SUPER EXCITED for them to arrive...all morning he'd ask for them...When they arrived, we hung out a bit, had lunch and then headed out to Manito for a couple of hours of playing! O and S slid down slides, rolled down hills, fed ducks and put up with me an my camera!!! Ha! Here you go...

Captain O!

Spider Hat...

To say O loves his preschool would be an understatement! He is happy as a clam there and we both enjoy the activities and friends we are making! Yesterday we made a spider hat which Owen wore for about 7 minutes 23 seconds! YEY!

Joy!

Yesterday O didn't care to nap...so we went to the park for the afternoon...We parked by the Conservatory, where they have a beautiful fountain...a good 40 minutes was spent there...and I captured a moment of splashing joy!

The other day we went down to Riverside Park and hung out for a couple of hours...it was virtually empty and it seemed we had the place to ourselves! We played in a playground, chased Owen and rode the fastest carousel I've ever ridden...we were smokin'! (I don't have a pic of that because I was holding on for dear life...I can't wait to go back...best cheap thrill I've experienced!)...Oh...O liked it too!

Short conversation tonight before O's nightly bottle:

Me, "Sweetpea, would you like a bottle of milk or a bottle of water tonight?"

O, (pauses for a minute while thinking)...then, "Bottle of wine?"
